About tevisa

Empowering technical and vocational student-athletes through sport, discipline, and national unity.

The Technical Education and Vocational Sports Association (TEVISA) is the national sports body representing all technical and vocational colleges registered under the Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training Authority (TEVETA).

Established on 6th April, 2010, TEVISA has remained dedicated to promoting discipline, sportsmanship, leadership, and national solidarity among student-athletes across Zambia’s technical and vocational institutions.

Through structured sporting programmes, TEVISA provides young people with opportunities to develop physical excellence, teamwork, and character—skills that directly enhance employability and lifelong personal growth.

National Competitions

March Youth Tournament

Held in celebration of Youth Day, fostering unity and youth empowerment.

Heroes and Unity Tournament

Hosted during the Trade Fair season in June and July.

Independence Tournament

Held annually during Independence Week in October.

These national competitions bring together student-athletes from over 30 institutions nationwide, strengthening friendship, patriotism, and national cohesion.
